Job summary

The Westin Melbourne is hiring a Commis Chef on a part-time basis to join our dedicated kitchen team at 205 Collins Street, Melbourne. You will assist in organizing and maintaining your section, portion and present dishes with care, and uphold high food safety and cleanliness standards.

We're looking for candidates with a trade/Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent, relevant kitchen experience, and a proactive, energetic approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Trade/Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Rise with us and organise and maintain assigned section of the kitchen effectively
• Serve food in proper portions and onto proper receptacles focusing on attention to detail
