Job summary

Workers Lifestyle Group is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for its Western Sydney venues. You will partner with the CFO to turn financial data into actionable insights that drive commercial performance.

The role focuses on budgets, forecasts, KPI dashboards, and profitability analysis across multiple revenue streams, reporting to the finance team. You will influence operational leaders and help shape strategic decisions for growth.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA/CA qualification or studying is highly regarded.
• Previous Management Accounting experience.
• Hospitality, clubs, gaming, hotels, restaurants or retail experience is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting capability.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Identify trends, anomalies and commercial opportunities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO to drive performance and support robust processes and practices.
• Analyse budgets, forecasts, revenue, costs and variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Develop data reporting and dashboards to monitor KPIs.
• Perform variance analysis against budget/forecast.
• Prepare consolidated monthly financial and management reports.
• Conduct margin analysis, cost reviews and profitability reporting.
• Manage inventory accounting and reporting.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
