Job summary

NLE Commercial in Chermside, QLD is seeking a hands-on Commercial Service Technician to diagnose faults and repair electrical and mechanical systems in commercial laundry and kitchen equipment at customer sites.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and record service activities using iPad-based systems, while adhering to safety and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding on industrial or commercial equipment.
• Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence is required.
• A current driver’s licence is required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are essential.
• A professional, customer-focused approach is expected.
• Experience with commercial kitchen or laundry equipment is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in commercial laundry and kitchen equipment.
• Performing scheduled maintenance, testing and calibration.

Who we need

Service Technicians at NLE work directly with customers at their sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and maintaining commercial equipment. This is a hands-on field service role with plenty of variety. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems, solve practical problems and help customers minimise equipment downtime. You will be backed by a highly experienced and motivated administrative team who are committed to ensuring that you can do the job you're being asked to do.

Key responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in commercial laundry and kitchen equipment

Performing scheduled maintenance, testing and calibration

About you
