Job summary

Guerbet Australia seeks a Commercial Operations Leader to support local supply chain, logistics, and commercial activities. You will drive demand forecasting, SIOP, and stock transfers between Sydney and other locations while coordinating with suppliers and 3PLs.

You will partner with APAC shared services for business and financial analysis, develop Power BI dashboards, and assist Sales and Marketing with promotions, pricing, and reports to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience in medical/pharmaceutical field.
• Solid financial acumen; commerce/finance related qualifications is a plus but not required.
• Operations/supply chain experience.
• Power BI and Excel experience.
• Experience with data management, analysis and reporting.
• IT System oriented, extensive knowledge of Microsoft PC applications.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills, ability to multi-task.
• Good team player, positive attitude, good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local supply chain and logistics activities, and act as main interface with suppliers/partners.
• Partner with APAC shared services for business and financial analysis to support local decision making.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and prepare sales/product/customer reports.
• Support Sales & Marketing activities, including events, promotions coordination, and materials development.
• Manage tender and contract submissions, ensuring alignment to commercial strategy and contract compliance.

Job Description

The Commercial Operations Leader will support local supply chain and logistics activities, offer business and financial analysis support, contract and tender management, and assist the Sales & Marketing organisation across varied operational, logistics and commercial activities. This will be in conjunction with shared service functional teams.

Supply Chain and Logistics

• Direct line Manager to AU Customer Service Representative
• Maintaining accurate demand forecast, considering country specific business needs and operational constraints
• Oversee from a local perspective the Sales, Inventory & Operation Planning (SIOP) cycle
• Be the main, local interface with suppliers and partners for supply chain/logistics activities
• Follow up Australia and New Zealand inbound shipments with freight forwarders.
• Follow up 3PL/4PL daily operation, to ensure logistic operations are on track to support market sales.
• Manage stock transfer between Sydney warehouse and Perth warehouse, to ensure sufficient stock placement.
• Ensure inventory reconciliation between SAP and 3PL system
• National Product Catalogue management
• Support recall activity as required
• Local lead with other various supply chain and logistics related activities

Business Analysis

• Partner with APAC shared services other functional teams, for business and financial analysis activities to support local decision making
• Partake in budgeting processes, business reviews and ad hoc analysis
• Preparation of sales/product/customer reports
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards

Sales and Marketing Support

• General operational support for the sales and marketing team such as events, co-ordination of promotions, development of materials
• Market and sales analysis, generating reports to monitor developments and contribute to strategic marketing and commercial excellence plans.
• Price list management

Tender and Contract Management

• Ensure management of timely submissions with high quality responses aligned to commercial strategy
• Reviewing and ongoing management of contracts ensuring contract compliance – customers, partners, leases, contractors etc
• Ad hoc duties and one-off projects as required

Education, background required for the job

• 7 years' experience in medical/pharmaceutical field.
