Job summary

Crawford is seeking a Commercial Loss Adjuster based in Adelaide to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property claims from instruction to settlement. You will investigate losses, determine coverage, assess damages and deliver fair, timely outcomes while working with insurers, brokers, policyholders and service providers.

This role offers hybrid work (3 days in the office, 2 days from home), opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive team across Crawford's national and global

Qualifications

• Experience in Loss Adjusting, Property Claims and Commercial Claims.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to investigate issues, analyse information and make sound decisions.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Current driver's licence.
• Australian/New Zealand work rights and ability to complete a police check.
• Experience managing commercial property claims.
• Previous loss adjusting experience.
• Knowledge of insurance policy interpretation and claims practices.
• Industry qualifications or progression toward professional accreditation.
• CILA membership or willingness to undertake further professional development.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial property claims throughout the full claim lifecycle.
• Conducting site inspections and assessing property losses.
• Investigating claim circumstances and determining policy coverage.
• Preparing reports, recommendations and settlement strategies.
• Building strong relationships with insurers, brokers, policyholders and service providers.
• Negotiating and settling claims in line with client requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client standards.
