Job summary

Airmaster is an award-winning Building Service company delivering HVAC&R management, smart building solutions and fire services across Australia and New Zealand. A Refrigeration/Airconditioning Installation Technician role in Newcastle requires extensive experience installing commercial HVAC systems with a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship and client communication.

The successful candidate will hold trade certificates, Arctick licence, white card, CPR/LVR and a valid driver’s licence,

Qualifications

• Experience installing commercial HVAC mechanical systems including split, packaged, VRF/VRV and ventilation units.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems including testing and testing procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and installation documentation.
• Proven ability to work autonomously on-site and meet project deadlines.
• Commitment to safety with WHS compliance and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems and related components.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians on site.
• Identify installation issues and provide practical solutions.
• Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors for efficient delivery.
• Ensure high quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
