Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare holiday apartments, villas and units to standards.
• Thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
• Make beds, replace linen and arrange furnishings.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and clean windows and surfaces.
• Sanitize bathrooms and kitchens and maintain hygiene.
• Restock toiletries and cleaning supplies for guests.
• Handle linen and laundry, including replacement as required.
• Inspect units after departures and report maintenance needs.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping to meet check-in times.

Seascape Holidays is now looking for an experienced Commercial Housekeeper to join their team.

The right candidate will be responsible for:

• Cleaning and preparing holiday apartments, villas and accommodation units to ensure they meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Performing thorough cleaning of guest bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and other accommodation spaces.
• Making beds, replacing used linen and towels, and arranging bedding and furnishings according to accommodation standards.
• Vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture and cleaning windows, mirrors and other surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks, bathtubs and bathroom fixtures.
• Cleaning kitchen areas, appliances, benchtops, cupboards and utensils to maintain appropriate hygiene standards.
• Replenishing toiletries, towels, cleaning supplies and other guest amenities before new arrivals.
• Collecting, sorting, washing and replacing linen and other laundry items as required.
• Conducting detailed cleaning of accommodation units following guest departures and preparing properties for incoming guests.
• Inspecting accommodation areas for cleanliness, damage, missing items or maintenance issues and reporting concerns to management.
• Handling and storing cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies safely in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures.
• Coordinating daily housekeeping tasks with other team members to ensure accommodation units are ready within scheduled check-in times.

About you:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Commercial Housekeeper;
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, housekeeping procedures and accommodation presentation standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely and effectively while maintaining appropriate hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prepare multiple accommodation units efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently, follow instructions and maintain consistent housekeeping standards.
