Job summary

NSW Public Works is seeking a finance professional to join the Commercial and Program Governance team. You will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis to improve project outcomes in a workplace-focused role.

The role emphasizes data analytics, reporting improvements, and timely financial advice across client projects, while contributing to governance and control practices in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience with Excel and analytics tools for reporting and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Assist budgeting, forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis for projects.
• Contribute to improvement of financial reporting systems and data quality.
• Provide practical commercial advice for tendering and delivery of client projects and programs.
• Support monthly reporting processes in coordination with Finance Manager.
