Job summary

RATP Dev Western Sydney Airport (RDWSA) is seeking a Commercial Defects Manager to support contract administration and risk mitigation across the project. You will bridge engineering and contract law, translating defect data into contract notices and cost-recovery strategies, reporting to the Defect Manager and Commercial Director.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial claims management and contract administration.
• Ability to interpret technical defect data in contractual terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial claims process end‑to‑end, evaluating defects against project agreements to establish positions and issue notices.
• Draft formal Contract Notices and defect notifications in collaboration with Legal Counsel.
• Audit work orders in Maximo to ensure all direct costs are tracked and reimbursement claims are coordinated.
• Secure transfer of subcontractor/manufacturer warranties to protect operations and support the commercial team.
