Job summary

Tabcorp in Sydney is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to advise on commercial relationships, products and regulatory matters shaping our wagering business. This role involves negotiating agreements, addressing regulatory issues and providing practical legal support to commercial teams.

Reporting to the General Counsel – Wagering, Media & Corporate, you will own matters from initial advice through to delivery on a 12-month contract, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to manage

Qualifications

Admission as an Australian legal practitioner.
Commercial legal experience gained in-house or in private practice.
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Experience advising on regulatory or compliance matters in a regulated or consumer-facing business.
Clear communication and ability to build stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Advise on wagering products, operations and customer matters, identifying legal issues and proposing practical solutions.
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including partnerships with sporting bodies and racing organisations.
Interpret regulatory obligations and support regulatory and government-facing matters.
