Job summary

Millennium Services Group is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to join our team at various school sites across Australia, with shifts during weekdays and weekends. This casual role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to safe, welcoming environments for students and staff.

You will perform general cleaning duties to a high standard, with responsibilities including toilet cleaning, rubbish collection, floor care, and glass cleaning.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with a team.
• Police Check and Working with Children Check required.
• Must have Australian work rights.
• Flexibility for shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning to a high standard.
• Spot cleaning of furnishings; sweep and mop floors.
• Toilet cleaning and rubbish collection.
• Clean glass surfaces and dust hard surfaces.
• Adhere to safe work practices and site rules.

The Role:

Millennium has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable Cleaners to join our team at one of our school sites.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for students, staff, and visitors.

We currently have multiple casual positions available, with shifts available across both weekdays and weekends.

This position will be based on award wages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
• Spot cleaning of furnishings
• Sweeping and mopping
• Toilet cleaning
• Rubbish collection
• Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
• Dusting of all hard surfaces

About You:

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
• Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
• Must have a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• You must have valid work rights in Australia.
