Job summary

Cove Commercial Cleaning is seeking a permanent part-time cleaner to join our overnight team in Sydney. You’ll work about 9–12 hours per week on 12:00am start times, finishing by 3:00am, on a rotating roster that may include weekends.

You are not expected to work every night, and shift lengths depend on the cleaning schedule. You will perform general cleaning tasks, sanitising areas, empty bins, and report hazards.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning and sanitising common areas and frequently touched surfaces
• Dusting and wiping furniture, fixtures and other surfaces
• Cleaning and replenishing bathrooms, toilets and amenities
• Cleaning internal glass and glass doors
• Cleaning designated kitchen and staff areas
• Emptying general waste and recycling bins
• Replenishing consumables where required
• Following the site's cleaning scope, checklists and safety procedures
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or hazards

Job description

This is a permanent part-time position, working as part of a cleaning team on a rotating roster. You will work approximately 9-12 hours per week on overnight shifts. Cleaning services operate seven nights per week, with team members sharing shifts on a rotational basis. Start time is 12.00am (midnight) and all cleaning must be completed and staff offsite by 3.00am. You will work allocated shifts as part of the team; you are not expected to work all seven nights. Individual shift lengths will depend on the cleaning schedule. Rostered nights may include weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities
