Job summary

Hiway is seeking an Accountant who partners with operational leaders to drive better business decisions and own meaningful financial outcomes. You will forecast, perform project performance reporting, and provide commercial analysis across operations while embedding yourself with the business rather than just crunching numbers.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage monthly management reporting, budgets and cost-to-completion reporting, BAS, reconciliations and compliance, and

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualified (or working towards) preferred.
• Experience in management accounting, project accounting, or commercial finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis with attention to detail.
• Commercial mindset with ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monthly management reporting and financial analysis.
• Budgets, forecasts and cost-to-completion reporting.
• Job costing, project performance and plant utilisation analysis.
• BAS preparation, reconciliations and compliance activities.
• Business partnering with operational leaders.
• Sustainability reporting and continuous process improvement.
