Job summary

Gordon Bourke Homes Pty Ltd in Toowoomba is seeking a motivated selections assistant to join our growing team. You’ll work with the Colour Consultant to help clients choose colours, finishes and fixtures for their new homes, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and on time.

You’ll learn the selections process from the ground up with hands-on training, enjoy Monday–Friday hours, and have a clear path to advance into a Colour Consultant role as your confidence grows.

Qualifications

• A good eye for colour and how a scheme comes together.
• Excellent attention to detail; small errors matter on site.
• Strong organisation and ability to juggle several clients at once.
• Friendly, confident manner with clients on the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for colour appointments with samples, catalogs and client files.
• Attend client appointments and take accurate notes of selections.
• Enter selections and update colour specs and selection documents.
• Request supplier quotes for tiles, flooring, blinds, lighting and fans.
• Help prepare colour-stage variations and documentation for review.
• Chasing outstanding client selections and supplier information.
• Keep the showroom and sample library tidy and up to date.
• Answer client calls and emails, and assist reception when needed.
