Government of South Australia invites applications for the Collection and Project Librarian role in Adelaide, CBD. You will lead collection development projects, collaborate with public libraries across SA, and analyse data to guide decision-making and improve customer-focused collections.

Ideal candidates hold ALIA-defined library qualifications or equivalent and must pass a National Criminal History check; some duties outside normal hours may apply.

The Collection and Project Librarian is responsible for leading, collaborating on collection development and management projects, analyses data to support decision-making, and provides specialist advice contributing customer focused collections across South Australia.

Special Conditions

• The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
• The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
• Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
• This role requires a National Criminal History check.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in library and information studies as defined by Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) or eligible for professional membership.
