Job summary

JBS Townsville is recruiting experienced Cold Stores Labourers to join our team in a full-time capacity at the Townsville facility.

Ideal candidates hold a forklift license (preferred), have experience in manual handling, loading/unloading, cold storage and RF scanning, and are ready to work in a temperature-controlled environment. You will be part of a collaborative team with opportunities for career progression.

The facility employs approximately 430 employees and processes approximately 900 head per day.

About the Role

JBS Townsville is currently recruiting experienced Cold Stores Labourers to join the team in a full-time capacity.

About You

• Hold a current forklift license, advantageous but not mandatory
• Previous experience with manual handling,container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing
• Previous experience working in a temperature-controlled environment (chiller/freezer)
• Previous experience with order picking and palletising advantageous
• Previous experience with RF scanning advantageous
• Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
• Willing to undergo a Q Fever vaccination
• Have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work
