The Rural Doctors Association of Queensland has released its first policy position on domestic and family violence (DFV) and coercive control, highlighting it as a major public health concern.
The Association’s inaugural Coercive Control and Domestic Violence Policy Position was published to mark Domestic and Family Violence Awareness Month. RDAQ President Dr. Danielle Allan emphasized the importance of this position paper, especially with the upcoming implementation of Coercive Control legislation later this month.
