Job summary

Medii is seeking an Emergency Department SRMO for a busy regional hospital on the NSW coast, starting August 2026. The ED operates 24/7 and offers strong supervision, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and opportunities to develop procedural and critical care skills.

You will work with FACEMs, registrars and nursing staff, with exposure to trauma, medical emergencies and pediatrics, and pathways to ACEM training or further critical care experience.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent qualification.
• AHPRA General Registration or supervision level 3+.
• Minimum 2–3 years postgraduate clinical experience.
• Previous Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess, stabilise and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Perform clinical procedures including suturing, plastering, airway management and resuscitation.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, registrars and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in a rotating roster including evenings, nights and weekends.
• Maintain accurate documentation and clinical handover.
