Job summary

Select Aust Sydney is seeking a reliable Infrastructure Labourer to support coastal and maritime infrastructure on the Gold Coast. You will perform hands-on labour, assist with sand management, plant and jetty maintenance, and support mechanical tasks as needed.

This ongoing role offers guaranteed six months, minimum 36.25 hours per week, overtime, on-call allowances, and a pathway to permanent employment for high performers.

Qualifications

• Solid outdoor labouring in coastal environments.
• Must have Construction White Card (White Card) and be physically able to perform outdoor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coastal infrastructure operations, sand management, plant and jetty maintenance.
• Support mechanical maintenance, pump operation, and troubleshooting on large pumping/fluid systems.
• Carry out site safety tasks including JSA and risk assessments.
• General hands-on labour including ladder work, site setup, vehicle spotting and facility repairs.
• Operate machinery, forklift movements and support rigging/EWP tasks if ticketed.
