Job summary

Sante Recruitment seeks a Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a progressive regional health service on Victoria’s Great South Coast. This salaried position offers scope across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings with opportunities to contribute to service development.

You will lead endoscopy services and participate in teaching and quality initiatives within a supportive multidisciplinary team, in a coastal regional environment.

Qualifications

• FRACP fellowship or equivalent with advanced training in gastroenterology.
• Specialist Registration with AHPRA or eligibility.
• Extensive experience in gastroenterology and endoscopy.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and quality improvement.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary team skills.
• Experience teaching and supervising junior medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinics.
• Upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy.
• Participation in weekday gastroenterology consultation roster.
• Inpatient gastroenterology management.
• Teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior staff and students.
• Participation in quality improvement and service development initiatives.
