Job summary

The City of Coffs Harbour seeks an experienced Building Certifier to support safe, compliant and high-quality development across the Coffs Coast. You will assess development applications, undertake inspections, issue certifications and provide trusted technical advice to builders, developers, industry professionals and the community.

This permanent full-time role offers a brand new office at Yarrila Place, flex time and generous leave entitlements, with 35 hours per week and a competitive salary

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking building certification activities, inspections and development assessment.
• Knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Building and Development Certifiers legislation, National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A commitment to professionalism, continuous learning and customer service excellence.
