Job summary

ALS Coal currently has opportunities available for a Casual PTL Technician based at our site in Mayfield (Spit Island Cl) NSW.

The Position will require shift work (day, afternoon, night) on a rotating roster with optional overtime. If you have a drive to produce quality results and a strong team spirit, we would like to hear from you. Full training provided to the successful applicant, and a pre-employment medical exam including drug and alcohol assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Current rights to work in Australia (visa, permanent resident or citizen).
• Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work safely and efficiently.
• Handle coal samples and process as per instructions and current methods.
• Load and unload coal samples from various plant streams.
• Perform a range of physical tests including sample preparation, sizing, crushing, dividing and storage.
• Transfer validated results into the reporting system.
• Calibrate and maintain specialised equipment.
