We seek two full-time CNC Setter positions to lead high-precision manufacturing for global customers. This role offers stable, full-time employment, on-site work in Melbourne’s Croydon area, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified CNC machinist (Cert III in Engineering or equivalent).
• Proven experience in CNC programming and tool setting.
• Skilled in setting and operating multi-axis twin spindle lathes and two-pallet mills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacture parts to exacting tolerances.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks).
• Experience working within an accredited quality system.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in CNC programming and tool setting.
• Setting machines to suit job and product requirements; preparing and loading material.
• Operate Multi-Axis Twin Spindle Lathes and Two Pallet Mills in a precision environment.
• Set up Swiss sliding head CNC machines to manufacture precision parts to detailed specifications.
• Collaborate with large or small machine teams as required.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met efficiently and safely.
