Job summary

Ampcontrol in Rutherford is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at the Rutherford facility. This role focuses on operating and programming CNC mills, lathes and multi-axis equipment to produce high-quality precision components for critical industries.

You will interpret engineering drawings and tolerances, monitor workloads, troubleshoot issues, and maintain tooling and safety in a modern manufacturing environment. We value teamwork, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Machinist in a manufacturing/workshop environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Trade qualification in fitting and machining or similar discipline preferred, not essential.

About You

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Relevant trade qualification in fitting and machining or a similar discipline (preferred, but not essential).
