Job summary

Metalform Industries is a CNC machining and fabrication company based in the Rathmines Industrial Estate. They run modern, well-maintained CNC lathes and mills including Fanuc and Heidenhain controls, with a focus on precision and efficiency.

The role involves setting, programming, and operating CNC lathes and mills, reading drawings, and producing high-quality components while maintaining tight tolerances and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Confidence reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience on Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls, or similar.
• Mastercam experience (preferred, not essential).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• High attention to detail and genuine pride in workmanship.
• Team-first attitude.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment lung and hearing test.
• Right to work in Australia.

Job description

You'll be running modern, well-maintained CNC lathes and mills — including our DNT 2600M, DNT 2100 CNC lathes, 2 x DNM 6700 machining centers — on Fanuc control. The machines are new, the tooling is looked after, and the shop is set up so you can get on with the job instead of fighting the equipment.
