Job summary

CMI Electrical Products, part of the IPD Group, seeks an Internal Sales Representative to deliver expert support to customers from our Lidcombe office. You will answer calls, educate customers on our range, process orders, and nurture client relationships while upholding safety and quality standards.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager – NSW, you will contribute to costings, product recommendations, and timely quotations, with a commitment to service excellence and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical cable sales or the electrical wholesaling sector.
• Strong ability to follow instructions, guidelines, and procedures while delivering excellent customer service.
• Skilled in prioritising and planning workflow to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Committed to following quality assurance, workplace health, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Answering all incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently.
• Educating customers on our product range and offering tailored product solutions.
• Processing customer orders, including raising delivery dockets, invoices, and quotations.
• Assisting with costing and advising customers on product types to meet their requirements.
• Managing and nurturing relationships with existing and new customers.
• Providing accurate product descriptions, quality data, and material recommendations.
• Reporting product quality enquiries, non-conformances, and customer complaints to the State Sales Manager, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Raising RMAs for returned goods and incident reports, ensuring management sign-off.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager –NSW, this role will be based at our office in Lidcombe, NSW.

About the role:
