JD Sports Australia invites an experienced Cluster Visual Merchandise Manager to lead the VM teams across five stores in the Adelaide and NT region, including Rundle Mall, Marion, Elizabeth, Colonnades and Darwin.

You will recruit, coach and develop VM staff, drive premium visual standards, translate commercial decisions into sales growth, and collaborate with Area Managers, Buying and Marketing to align campaigns and stock priorities. Regular store visits and strong leadership are essential.

THE ROLE

As a Cluster Visual Merchandise Manager, you will lead and develop the in-store Visual Merchandising teams across 5 stores spanning the Adelaide and NT Region (Rundle Mall, Marion, Elizabeth, Colonnades, and Darwin).The role is centered around building, coaching and supporting the Visual Merchandisers to uphold a consistent, premium standard across every store and turning great presentation into stronger sales.Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising South, you will visit your stores on regular rotation to develop your team, identify commercial priorities, and make sure every store reflects the JD Sports brand at its best.

YOUR MANDATE

Lead, coach and develop the in-store VM team across your five-store cluster

Build VM bench strength through recruitment, induction and training

Drive consistent, premium visual standards across every store

Turn commercial visual decisions into measurable sales growth

Manage visual communication and campaign execution across the cluster

Partner with Area Managers, Buying, Marketing and Support Office

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead & Develop the VM Team

Lead, coach and develop the in-store VM team to deliver visual excellence in line with company guidelines

Talent spot and recruit high-calibre Visual Merchandisers who embody the JD Sports DNA

Identify training needs with L&D and upskill store VMs and management teams on VM standards

Visual Standards & Commercial Impact

Work with Area Managers and store teams to make commercial layout decisions that drive sales growth

Interpret local and seasonal trends while maintaining corporate brand identity

Use company reporting to evaluate store performance and identify commercial opportunities

Coach your team to action plan and turn around underperforming stores

Monitor controllable VM and display costs to protect profitability

Campaigns, Stakeholders & Communication

Manage visual updates and communication direction to stores

Support campaign and product launch execution across the cluster

Liaise with Buying and Marketing to align stock priorities and in-store campaigns

Set clear weekly priorities and expectations for your team

Operational Excellence

Visit all stores on regular rotation to develop the team and identify priorities

Use ReStore to follow up and feedback on required actions

Monitor BOH standards, replenishment and stock movement across stores

Ensure pricing and ticketing activity is delivered to JD standard and to deadline

Uphold WHS standards across all VM activity

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

5 years in a senior VM role across multiple sites

Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a VM team

A commercial individual with a creative eye for effective visual solutions

Strong stakeholder management, able to build rapport at all levels

Excellent communication, able to give intelligent, articulate and concise feedback

Highly organised, able to handle large volumes of work to tight deadlines

Comfortable travelling regularly across the cluster, including Toowoomba

Intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

You deliver success through the motivation and development of your team, with the commercial instinct and creative eye to lift standards across every store.
