Job summary

JD Sports is seeking an In-store Visual Merchandiser to create engaging displays, reflect brand vision, and drive store success at our Wetherill Park location. You will influence customers with visually captivating setups and support the Store Manager in maintaining high visual standards.

You should have experience in visual merchandising within fashion retail, a love for fashion, and strong creativity. Excellent time management, stakeholder communication, and the ability to adapt to changing

THE ROLE

This role is rostered across Monday to Friday with varying shift times. By applying, you’re confirming your availability to work across these days.

At JD Sports, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. As theIn-Store Visual Merchandiser, your mission is to create an engaging shopping experience for our consumers that also drives store success and profitability.

You will inspire customers to engage with our brand and product by creating visually captivating merchandise displays, making customer-driven decisions, executing visual merchandise directives, and ensuring exceptional store presentation. You will support the Store Manager to coach and mentor the team to uphold high visual standards, in line with our company vision.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:

Execute in-store creative displays, including windows and mannequins to reflect the brand vision and deliver world class shopping experience to your specific customer demographic

Analyse reports and make data driven decisions on store layout and product merchandising

Support the store management team to deliver and maintain visual standards across all departments

Inspiring and coaching the store team on our company standards and customer’s expectations to drive a world class experience for the JD customers

WHAT WE’R

Experience in a Visual Merchandiser role with a fashion retailer

You love fashion, are highly creative and enjoy influencing others

Strong knowledge of our brands is preferred

Can demonstrate critical thinking and commerciality

You have excellent time management skills, including prioritisation and delegation and can ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner

You are confident at communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business

You can adapt to continuously changing processes and procedures
