Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join a high‑performing security and infrastructure team in Sydney. The role blends technical security delivery with project coordination, focusing on IAM, Zero Trust, and secure remote access initiatives.

You will gather requirements, coordinate testing, and support rollout of secure access solutions, translating complex concepts into clear business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience with IAM or remote access technologies.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with business units to document access requirements and user personas.
• Document and analyse existing VPN access processes and design Zero Trust workflows.
• Profile and categorise applications to support onboarding and security prioritisation.
• Define UAT criteria and coordinate validation with stakeholders.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and workstreams.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and leadership updates.
• Identify risks, security concerns, and compliance issues; support mitigations.
• Coordinate change management activities and training programs.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and business teams for outcomes.
