Job summary

The 3Three Group is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join a large Australian professional services organisation undergoing a cloud-first transformation.

You will work with Azure security, Terraform/ARM, and SASE capabilities (Prisma Access, Cloudflare) while assessing AI workloads and embedding DevSecOps across engineering teams. This hands-on role provides security assurance and architecture peer reviews throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud security engineering/architecture in Microsoft Azure.
• Practical Terraform/ARM/Bicep with CI/CD security.
• Experience with Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud, or SASE platforms.
• Experience with Cloudflare security services (WAF, DDoS, DNS, ZTNA).
• Security-aware AI workloads in Azure AI Foundry/OpenAI-like tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud security architecture expertise and peer review across designs before go-live.
• Audit infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/ARM/Bicep) against baselines; contribute to shared templates.
• Support and extend Palo Alto Prisma Access and SASE capabilities in projects.
• Manage and optimise Cloudflare edge security services (WAF, DDoS, DNS, ZTNA).
• Provide security assurance over AI workloads, including data pipelines and model hosting.
• Champion DevSecOps and shift-left security in engineering teams.
• Contribute to risk assessments aligned to NIST CSF, Essential 8, and NIST AI RMF.

Join a well-established, large Australian proffessional services organisation undergoing a major cloud-first transformation. As they scale their Azure footprint and roll out AI capability across the business, they're bringing in a Cloud Security Engineer to work alongside a small but highly capable in-house Cyber team and the broader Enterprise Architecture function.

This is a hands-on, advisory role, you\'ll be providing security assurance and peer review, helping the in-house Architecture team embed best practice as they build.

What you\'ll be doing

Partnering closely with the in-house Architecture team to provide cloud security architecture expertise, assurance, and peer review across designs before they go live

Auditing infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep) against security baselines and contributing to shared template libraries

Supporting and helping build out Palo Alto Prisma Access and SASE capability, recently implemented as part of a broader network security project

Managing and optimising Cloudflare edge security services — WAF, DDoS protection, DNS security, and Zero Trust access

Providing security assurance over AI workloads built in Azure AI Foundry, including model hosting, data pipelines, and mitigating AI-specific risks (prompt injection, data exfiltration, unauthorised model access)

Championing DevSecOps and shift-left security practices across engineering teams

Contributing to cloud and AI risk assessments aligned to frameworks like NIST CSF, Essential 8, and NIST AI RMF

What you\'ll bring

Strong hands-on experience in cloud security engineering/architecture, ideally in Microsoft Azure

Practical Terraform (or ARM/Bicep) experience and a solid grasp of CI/CD pipeline security

Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud, or SASE platforms

Experience with Cloudflare security services (WAF, DDoS, DNS security, Zero Trust)

Exposure to securing AI/ML workloads — Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or similar — is highly regarded

Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and security-as-code

Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, and Essential 8

Relevant certifications (AZ-500, SC-100, CCSP) highly regarded
