Job summary

CreditorWatch seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Lead to own and evolve the cloud platform, security posture and internal automation. This hands-on technical leader will shape AWS strategy, governance and scalable, self-service infrastructure to empower a growing engineering organization.

In this hybrid role based in Sydney CBD, you’ll balance security, reliability and cost while guiding pattern creation, tooling and collaboration across Engineering Operations and Security.

Qualifications

• Experience building/maturing AWS platforms used by multiple engineering teams.
• Strong Terraform experience with reusable modules and governance.
• Practical cloud security experience with CSPM and AWS-native controls.
• Proven platform engineering track record delivering self-service infrastructure.
• Ability to translate security, reliability and cost into practical roadmaps.
• Strong leadership and collaboration across security, engineering, product and business.
• Experience with AI/automation platforms such as n8n or LiteLLM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own our AWS platform strategy, architecture and governance.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules and self-service provisioning capabilities.
• Improve observability, performance, resilience and cloud cost optimization.
• Establish platform patterns, documentation and golden paths for infra delivery.
• Partner with Engineering Operations on CI/CD and developer experience.
• Balance security, reliability, cost and developer experience in decision making.
