Job summary

Axi is seeking a Platform/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for modern distributed applications. You will automate with Python and Terraform, manage across AWS/GCP/Azure, and enhance observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years in Platform, Cloud, SRE, or Infra Eng.
• Hands-on with at least one cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong IaC experience using Terraform.
• Python or other modern language for automation.
• Kubernetes and containerised workloads experience.
• Knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Understanding CI/CD, GitOps, and infra automation.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure for distributed apps.
• Develop automation and tooling in Python and IaC.
• Manage cloud infra across AWS/GCP/Azure using Terraform.
• Enhance observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and tracing.
• Improve CI/CD workflows and GitOps practices.
• Participate in incident response and improve platform reliability.
• Automate monitoring, alerting, diagnostics, and workflows.
• Contribute to next-gen observability and reliability products.
• Collaborate with founding team on architecture and product design.
• Improve scalability, security, and developer experience in a collaborative culture.
