Job summary

ResMed’s Global Technology Solutions (GTS) is seeking a Software Engineer to architect, implement, and deliver on our roadmap. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders to build scalable platforms and automate developer tooling.

You’ll drive observability, reliability and a cloud-native mindset, including Kubernetes and serverless patterns, while joining a 24/7 on-call rotation for production incidents. Excellent communication and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with public cloud (AWS) and cloud computing concepts.
• Understanding of test practices regardless of language or tools.
• Basic knowledge of source control, pull requests and automated quality gates using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.
• Passion for learning and problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and deliver on the roadmap with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain cloud-native architectures and observability for services.
• Participate in a 24/7 follow-the-sun on-call model for production incident management.
• Drive improvements in developer tools and automation.
• Collaborate across the enterprise to drive consensus and understanding.
