Job summary

VicRoads is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, build and operate cloud-native .NET applications and serverless services on AWS. You will work within an Agile team, delivering robust APIs via API Gateway and AppSync, while embracing IaC, automation, and secure coding practices.

Join our Engineering and Integration team to shape scalable, secure platforms that support VicRoads’ digital services and customer experiences, with a hybrid work setup including work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-native applications using C#/.NET and AWS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL in cloud environments.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain cloud-native backend services and serverless APIs.
• Collaborate in Agile teams with product owners, engineers, and QA to ensure quality deliveries.
• Implement secure, scalable solutions with IAM and data protection in mind.
• Produce clear documentation and runbooks for operational support.
