Job summary

VicRoads is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimise secure cloud environments across AWS and Azure. You will build IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, develop automation with Python/PowerShell/Bash and Ansible, and drive FinOps principles to maximise value.

You will implement robust security controls, IAM, encryption, monitoring and incident response while collaborating with engineering and security teams to deliver resilient cloud platforms for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience designing and supporting cloud environments in AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalents).
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including VPNs, DNS, routing and security controls.

Responsibilities
