Job summary

Schoolbox is seeking a permanent DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services team. You will help design, implement, and mature our AWS and Cloudflare-based cloud platform to support global expansion, security, and reliable performance.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will mentor junior engineers, own deployment pipelines, and drive IaC practices with Terraform and Puppet, GitHub Actions, and Concourse CI.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in IaC with Terraform and Puppet.
• Strong CI/CD and release management for SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and secure Schoolbox Cloud.
• Manage cost-effective cloud spend and expansion.
• Maintain IaC configurations and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor observability and high availability.
• Mentor junior engineers and support on-call rotation.
