Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking a Linux & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain our Linux server estate and Azure cloud services in Canberra. You will monitor systems with Grafana, handle patching, deployments, and incident resolution, and contribute to documentation and compliance efforts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux, Azure, and monitoring experience, plus scripting skills (Bash/PowerShell) and a collaborative mindset to work across teams in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana.
• Understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Basic scripting experience using Bash or PowerShell.
• Exposure to Azure administration.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Azure Monitor, or similar tools.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Linux server environment.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Monitor system health and performance using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
• Investigate and resolve system issues and incidents.
• Support Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Assist with application deployments and upgrades.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Support security and compliance activities
