Job summary

NCS Group Australia is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a large enterprise environment on a 6-month contract in Macquarie Park, NSW. This hands-on role requires strong traditional networking expertise along with modern cloud networking and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), plus security and automation focus to deliver resilient, scalable networks across multiple regions.

You will work across core networking, cloud networking, and secure connectivity with IaC tooling such as Terraform

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and optimise Data Network and Security infrastructure within large-scale enterprises.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience across traditional network engineering and cloud infra management.
• Experience deploying highly available, fault-tolerant multi-region cloud networks.
• Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP or CCDP desirable.

• Design and optimise data network and security infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Implement IaC-based automation for network provisioning.
