Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking an AWS security engineer to configure cloud-native security tooling, implement infrastructure as code, and uplift security posture across delivery teams.

You will develop and tune alerts for SecOps, collaborate with operations, and document evidence for accreditation and policy compliance. Flexible work arrangements are offered, with opportunities to contribute to security engineering forums.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring AWS security tooling such as Sec Hub and GuardDuty.
• Ability to design and tune alerts for security operations.
• Experience building and maintaining infrastructure as code for security controls.
• Familiarity with DI accreditation, PSPF, ISM and Essential 8 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive AWS security tooling configurations (Sec Hub, GuardDuty, etc.).
• Design and tune alerts for use by the DIS SecOps team.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code for security controls.
• Raise work items through ADO and ServiceNow for automation and control hardening.
• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to uplift security practices.
• Report on compliance evidence for DI accreditation, including ATO IT Security baselines and policy compliance.
