Job summary

ASX is seeking a Quality Engineering and Testing professional to join a cross‑functional team. You will design and execute tests for cloud and data platforms, develop scalable automation, and ensure end‑to‑end traceability from requirements to results.

The role emphasizes contributing to QE&T standards, integrating tests into CI/CD, and guiding engineers and delivery partners across ASX’s hybrid, technology‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Cloud and data platform testing experience.
• Hands-on AWS data services and pipelines.
• Automated testing for data ingestion, transformation and orchestration.
• Validate data quality across source and target systems.
• Experience validating AWS services like S3, Glue, Redshift and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a practitioner and contributor within QE&T Community of Practice.
• Coordinate testing, automation and quality engineering activities with cross-functional teams.
• Design tests from functional and non-functional requirements and solution architecture.
• Plan, execute and deliver testing across all phases, including non-functional testing.
• Design, build and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test libraries.
• Maintain traceability from tests to requirements and ensure evidence is auditable.
• Support test planning, environments, data and tooling definitions.
• Contribute to automation standards, tooling choices and engineering practices.
• Perform peer reviews and provide guidance to engineers and delivery partners.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or equivalent).
• Improve automation reliability, speed, and diagnostic capability; promote shift-left testing.
