We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect with a strong background in Microsoft Azure to join a leading global consultancy. In this role, you will be the technical authority in designing cutting-edge cloud solutions, guiding clients through their cloud transformation journey, and collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth.

Ideally you will have strong experience in Pre Sales, Solutioning and Technical Architecture of public & private cloud, also still hands on enough to act as an escalation point for engineers and assist with complex design where needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Architecture & Design: Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
2. Presales & Solutioning: Engage with clients to understand their needs, design tailored solutions, and support sales teams with technical expertise.
3. Client Engagement: Lead discovery sessions, present architectural solutions, and address technical concerns.
4. Technical Leadership: Provide best practice guidance, conduct workshops, and mentor junior architects.
5. Proposal Development: Create compelling technical proposals, including solution designs, pricing estimates, and implementation roadmaps.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and project teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Expert skills and knowledge in Microsoft Azure.
2. 7-10 years in a similar role in the IT industry.
3. At least 5 years of experience in solution design, with a preference for candidates who also have pre-sales experience.
4. Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
5. Experience configuring Google Cloud or AWS platforms – Highly regarded.
