Job description

We are actively seeking seasoned professionals with an active Australian Security Clearance (NV1 or higher) and a passion for Cloud, Automation and Security to join our elite pool of available resources and contribute to the development of resilient and efficient Cloud solutions.

Key duties and responsibilities

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Design and develop resilient, scalable, and cost-optimized Cloud solutions preferably using AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and other relevant AWS services.
• Optimize existing cloud infrastructure and architecture to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
• Oversee and maintain cloud security architecture to meet stringent security requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system architects, and software developers, to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to other team members to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, code, and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends and share knowledge and insights with the team.

What we need from you

• Australian Security Clearance (NV1 or Higher) – This is an essential requirement.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cloud services (S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Linux Administration
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Cloud solutions and infrastructure.
• Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud cost optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified - Security – Specialty or AWS Certified - DevOps – Specialty) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Automation technologies such as Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
