Macquarie University’s Clinical Trials Unit is seeking a Clinical Trials Associate to support fast-paced trials with sample processing, equipment maintenance and documentation. You will work under the Clinical Trials Laboratory Manager and collaborate with sponsors, couriers, and central labs to ensure sample viability.

The role requires keen attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a passion for clinical research.

Qualifications

• Experience building and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new IT systems.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Experience working in clinical trials is desirable.
• Passionate about working in clinical trials.

Responsabilités

• Process, store and ship biological samples collected from trial patients; oversee processing on allocated trials.
• Develop relationships with sponsors, couriers and central labs to ensure sample viability.
• Maintain lab consumable stock levels.
• Coordinate shipment of archived tissue samples with pathology centres.
• Collect and maintain trial paperwork per strict regulations.
• Ensure maintenance of clinical trial equipment.
• Maintain GCP compliant trial documentation and provide admin support.
