Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a part-time Clinical Support Officer to support Nursing & Midwifery Services at Tamworth Hospital. The role is on-site with structured orientation and opportunities to advance within NSW Health.

You will be a reliable, organised administrator working closely with senior nursing leadership to coordinate processes and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Deputy Director of Nursing & Midwifery (DDONM).
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including documentation and correspondence.
• Assist with workforce, rostering, leave and payroll enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and workforce data.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate administrative requirements.
• Support equipment, purchasing and other operational needs.
• Liaise with staff and managers across the hospital and provide professional customer service.
• Ensure tasks are followed through to completion.
