Job summary

St Vincent's Hospital Sydney is seeking a Research Development and Support Manager for the Heart Lung Clinical Stream. This maximum term full-time role supports the Head of Operations and drives delivery of the clinical research program, data systems, and compliance across Sydney’s premier public hospital precinct.

You will build collaborations, monitor performance, and guide grant activity while shaping research strategies that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in clinical research administration.
• Experience in program management or operations within healthcare or higher education.
• Solid understanding of the clinical research lifecycle including ethics and governance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication across diverse teams.
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Operations in managing and delivering the Heart Lung Clinical Research Program.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support outcomes.
• Monitor operational performance and implement initiatives to improve effectiveness.
• Lead delivery of research infrastructure projects, data management systems, improving efficiency and compliance.
• Provide guidance on grant applications, budgets, and compliance while contributing to research strategies.
