Job summary

Scientia Clinical Research is seeking Clinical Research Night‑Shift Nurses in NSW for permanent full‑time, part‑time or casual roles. Join a leading early‑phase trials organisation delivering participant‑centred care overnight.

As part of a multidisciplinary team you will monitor participants, administer study treatments, ensure data accuracy and uphold GCP standards. Night‑shift penalties apply and remuneration reflects experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Minimum two years’ post‑graduate nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care, critical care, research or similar clinical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to trial participants overnight.
• Monitor participants per study protocols and safety requirements.
• Administer study treatments and perform clinical procedures.
• Collect and document accurate clinical trial data.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, study protocols and organisational procedures.
• Respond to participant needs and escalate concerns as needed.
• Perform delegated study-related activities including data entry and documentation.
• Conduct quality control checks to support data accuracy and study integrity.

We are now recruiting Clinical Research Nurses specifically for night‑shift coverage, with opportunities available in permanent full‑time, part‑time, and casual capacities. About the Night‑Shift Role

As part of our multidisciplinary research team, you will play a critical role in ensuring participant safety and study integrity during overnight trial operations. You will work with precision, autonomy and professionalism while monitoring participants and supporting protocol‑driven study activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high‑quality nursing care to clinical trial participants overnight
• Monitoring participants in accordance with study protocols and safety requirements
• Administering study treatments and performing clinical procedures
• Collecting and documenting accurate clinical trial data
• Ensuring compliance with GCP, study protocols and organisational procedures
• Responding to participant needs and escalating clinical concerns as required

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum two years’ post‑graduate nursing experience
• Experience in acute care, critical care, research or similar clinical settings (highly regarded)
• Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• The ability to work independently overnight while collaborating effectively with the broader team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, professional approach in a clinical environment

Remuneration

Pay rates and shift loadings are paid in accordance with the NSW Public Health System Nurses’ and Midwives’ (State) Award, with remuneration commensurate with experience and employment type. Night‑shift penalty rates apply.
