Innovate Clinical Research is seeking enthusiastic doctors to broaden their clinical experience in medical research at our Waitara clinic on Sydney's Upper North Shore. As a Clinical Research Investigator, you will assess eligibility, perform examinations, obtain informed consent, review investigations, monitor participants and manage adverse events.

Qualifications

• Hold current general registration with AHPRA and have a minimum of RMO-level clinical experience (PGY2 or above).
• Sound clinical judgement and confidence in your clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Enjoy spending time with patients and providing thoughtful, patient-centred care.
• Are naturally curious about medicine, quick to learn and interested in how new treatments are developed.
• Are organised, meticulous and methodical, with strong attention to detail.
• Are adaptable, comfortable following clinical protocols and able to work across a variety of medical conditions.
• Have excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Are looking for something different from the traditional hospital environment.

Responsabilités

• Assessing participants’ medical histories and eligibility for clinical trials.
• Conducting clinical assessments and physical examinations.
• Explaining clinical trials and obtaining informed consent from participants.
• Reviewing pathology results, ECGs and other clinical investigations.
• Monitoring participants throughout their involvement in clinical trials.
• Identifying, assessing and managing adverse events.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
• Working closely with our Principal Investigators, nurses and clinical research team to ensure studies are conducted safely and to a high standard.
