Job summary

Veritus Research in Bayswater VIC is seeking an experienced Phase 1 Clinical Trial Doctor (Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator) to join our new site. You will oversee early-phase trials, assess participants for eligibility, obtain informed consent, and provide medical oversight across study visits.

Role profiles include substantial post-graduate clinical experience, unrestricted medical registration with AHPRA, and the ability to work with sponsors and ethics committees.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted General or Specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Current medical indemnity
• Australian working visa if applicable.
• 2–3 years post-graduate experience for Sub-Investigator; significant post-graduate experience for Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility of participants and obtain informed consent.
• Provide medical oversight during trial activities and patient care throughout the study.
• Review diagnostic test results and trial data at all stages of the trial.
• Engage with sponsors and support the ethics review process and trial protocol adherence.
