Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Research Associate II to join our Clinical Operations team in Australia. You will be the trusted AbbVie representative at assigned sites, ensuring high-quality delivery of clinical studies while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves site engagement, monitoring, training, and collaboration with investigators and cross-functional teams to meet study timelines and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health-related field.
• Minimum 1 year clinically related experience, including 6 months in clinical research monitoring.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Sponsor point of contact for investigative sites.
• Align/train site staff and PI on trial goals and patient treatment principles.
• Conduct site evaluation, training, monitoring, and site closure activities per GCP/SOPs/ICH.
• Gather insights and tailor site engagement strategies to assigned studies.
• Mentor junior CRAs and participate in global/local task forces.
