Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a fully registered Clinical Psychologist to deliver adult therapy and psychological assessments. The successful candidate will hold a master’s degree (or higher) in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, with AHPRA registration and at least two years of postgraduate clinical training.

The role emphasises trauma-informed care, consumer-focused service, and independent working within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist with professional registration/membership as per the Health and Community Employees Psychologists (State) Award, plus significant clinical experience in adult therapy.
• Minimum general registration period of 3 years is highly desirable.
• Fully registered with the AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia; masters or higher in Clinical Psychology or related area.
• Postgraduate qualifications must be no less than two years full time duration and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide consumer-focused psychological care and assessments.
• Work independently as required while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation with staff.
